You can learn more about Voting Week here.

As an Officer of the Executive Board of the Columbia Political Union (CPU), the Voter Engagement Director will lead our Voting Week initiative in 2016, a major election year. The Voter Engagement Director will recruit an organizing committee from the student body of Columbia's various schools, convince influential and vibrant speakers to speak at Columbia, and lead a voter registration campaign aimed at significantly increasing voter turnout among Columbia University students.

Once selected in February, the Voter Engagement Director will serve for the entirety of 2016, see Voting Week 2016 through to its completion in the Fall, and lay the groundwork for Voting Week 2017. The Voter Engagement Director will be selected by a committee comprised of representatives from CPU, the Columbia University College Republicans, Columbia University College Democrats, the Columbia University Libertarians, the Columbia Chapter of the Roosevelt Institute, and the Political Science Students Association.
