CPU Civic Fellows

CPU's latest initiative is our Civic Scholars Program, which allows CPU general body members (Civic Fellows) to lead and facilitate a civics education program for underserved high school students in communities surrounding Columbia. Our pilot program was completed in the fall, and we are continuing with an expanded and improved program for Spring 2021. The full program details are below. The program will be supplemented by guest speakers, including Columbia faculty, local politicians, and activists, and students will complete a final collaborative group project. We are excited to launch this initiative and expand our impact on campus and in the world. Civic Fellow applications are now open and are due by Sunday, February 14th, at 11:59PM.
